ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/SCIENTIST/TECHNOLOGIST

OFFICE LOCATION: 

Edmonton, Alberta

SYNOPSIS:                                                 

SLR has an opportunity for a junior/intermediate level environmental engineer/scientist/technologist in our Edmonton office.  SLR provides a healthy and dynamic work environment, challenging career opportunities and competitive compensation and benefit packages.      

REQUIREMENTS

TECHNICAL SKILLS / ABILITIES / EXPERIENCE

• 2-4 years experience in the areas of contaminated site assessment including Phase I and II ESA experience preferred, remediation experience is an asset. 
• Willingness and ability to travel and conduct fieldwork.  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential. 
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements unique to subsurface investigations and contaminated sites.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / MEMBERSHIPS

• Degree in environmental science, engineering, geology or a technical diploma.
• Alberta drivers license eligibility
• Professional status or eligibility for professional status
